Please read these terms carefully before using Cellar IQ. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Whiskey Ventures LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of Cellar IQ ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Cellar IQ is a web application for managing wine and whisky collections. Features include cellar inventory tracking, AI-generated insights via our AI Sommelier, market valuations sourced from third-party data providers, bottle scanning, and portfolio analytics.
Valuation data is for informational purposes only. Wine and whisky valuations provided through the Service are estimates based on third-party market data and are not financial advice. They may not reflect actual auction results, retail prices, or the true market value of your bottles. Do not make buying or selling decisions based solely on valuations shown in Cellar IQ. We are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or appraiser.
You must create an account to use Cellar IQ. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Cellar IQ offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Collector and Professional). Paid plans are billed monthly.
Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for the current billing period upon cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@cellariq.ai within 14 days of the charge.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Free tier limits: The free tier has limits on the number of bottles and AI messages. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with reasonable notice.

Cellar IQ and all its content, features, and functionality — including the software, design, text, and graphics — are owned by Whiskey Ventures LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your cellar data (bottle records, tasting notes, and other content you create) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the Service to you.
You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Whiskey Ventures LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Whiskey Ventures LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
